A large audience gathered on Lyme Regis seafront last night to enjoy the fourth Summer on the Seafront concert of 2026 by Lyme Regis Town Band.
As the sun slowly set, concertgoers were treated to an entertaining evening of upbeat brass band music. The varied programme included lively renditions of It's Not Unusual, made famous by Tom Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean, Hey Jude, ABBA's Ring Ring, The Lion Sleeps Tonight, and the ever-popular Sweet Caroline. The evening concluded on a high note with an enthusiastic encore of (Is This the Way to) Amarillo, sending the audience home smiling.
The band will continue its popular summer concert series every Tuesday evening from 7.45pm until approximately 9.00pm, with performances running through to 1 September.
Next week the band performs during Lyme Regis Regatta & Carnival Week.
