Join talented artist and tutor Lisa Parkyn for a vibrant two day abstract mixed-media floral workshop at The Town Mill's Bakehouse Studio on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 July 2026 from 10am until 4pm.

Inspired by all things floral, this hands-on workshop is playful and process-led, encouraging curiosity, experimentation and creative freedom. Lisa will guide you through a series of loosening-up exercises and techniques to create unique floral-inspired collage papers using expressive mark-making, gel prints, stencils and texture. You will also explore wider mixed media approaches, incorporating layering, collage, transfer techniques and a variety of materials including acrylics, ink, pastels and charcoal to bring your abstract floral compositions to life.

Perfect for all skill levels, these relaxed and supportive workshops are a wonderful opportunity to develop your creative practice, explore new techniques and immerse yourself in the joy of mixed media.
