The Uplyme & Lyme Regis Horticultural Society’s Autumn Harvest Show and Coffee Morning took place this morning at Uplyme Village Hall, celebrating the season’s bounty and the talents of local gardeners.
Visitors enjoyed a colourful display of flowers, home grown vegetables, apples, pumpkins and winter squash, alongside imaginative autumn themed arrangements, photographs of autumn trees and even cakes made from packet mixes!
Exhibits across the various categories were judged by public vote, making it a fun and inclusive celebration of local talent and seasonal creativity.
A highlight of the morning was the presentation of £1,000 to Lyme Regis Foodbank, represented by Sue and Martin Davies. The donation came from proceeds raised at the Society’s summer show and other events, demonstrating the wonderful community spirit behind the Society’s activities.
