Langmoor and Lister gardens on the seafront in Lyme Regis are ablaze with a wonderful array of light and colour. The spectacular new illuminations were officially switched on by the mayor of Lyme Regis, Cllr Brian Larcombe MBE, in September 2019 and will be on every evening from dusk until around 11pm throughout the summer months until the end of October. They will also be turned on for special occasions including school holidays, bonfire night, the turning on of the Christmas lights in the town and over the Christmas period.
You can stroll through the woodland paths as more than 60 coloured floodlights illuminate the trees and the statue of Admiral Sir George Somers.
A great view of the lights can be seen from the sandy beach and from the Cobb.
The scheme has been designed by Lymelight, who are the creators of the annual illuminations held in October and early November at Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens.
