The plaque dedicated to Barbara Austin, who played a key role in improving the Christmas lights in Lyme during the early 2000s, has recently been painstakingly restored by Mark Bujniewicz.
At the request of Rob James, current chairman of the Lyme Regis Christmas Lights Committee, Mark has revived the once-faded plaque attached to the Royal Lion in Broad Street. The inscription now stands out clearly once again, marking that the lantern above is dedicated to Barbara’s memory. Well done Mark!
