Disabled Parking

For short stays, Blue Badge holders can park for up to three hours on the Cart Road which runs along the seafront and promenade. Cart Road is accessed through Cobb Gate car park at the bottom of Broad Street.

For access to the town centre and the beaches, the best car parks to use are Cobb Gate, Monmouth Beach and Cabanya car parks. The larger car parks at Holmbush and Charmouth Road are further away, involve a steep downhill walk and have pavements which may be too narrow for wheelchairs and mobility scooters.

Broad Street car park has 2 accessible spaces
Charmouth Road car park has 2 accessible spaces
Cobb Gate car park has 1 accessible space
Holmbush car park has 6 accessible spaces
Monmouth Beach & Cabanya car parks have 13 accessible spaces
Pitt House NCP car park has 2 accessible spaces
Woodmead car park has 2 accessible spaces

Blue Badge holders will receive one extra hour in addition to the ticket purchased when parking in car parks operated by Dorset Council.
