The ever-popular Egg Catching competition once again proved a highlight of Lyme Regis Carnival Week, drawing crowds of children and adults to the beach.
The rules were simple but hilarious: throw the egg to your partner and, if caught successfully, take a step further back as directed by the organisers. The last pair standing with an unbroken egg claimed the prize.
It was an eggsciting, eggstremely funny and gloriously messy event—though spectators were warned to watch out for low-flying eggs!
