Local enfant terrible Pete Hackett returns to the Malthouse Gallery this autumn to showcase his Benchmark series.

Pete’s focus this season has been the observation of quiet contemplation that takes place on a bench - with rich pickings to observe from the benches studded across the Lyme Regis sea-front.

With a number of Pete’s pieces being picked up by The Guardian - including the now famous “Headless & Legless”, Pete is sure to deliver a thought provoking use of the gallery space.

The exhibition runs from Monday 287 until Sunday 3 November and is open daily from 10:30am until 4pm. Entry is free of charge.
