As part of his 'Shady Tee Tales' series, local historian Ken Gollop will be giving a talk about growing up in Lyme during the 1940's and 1950's and working the family fishing boat trips from Church Cliff and Cobb Gate beaches.
Over the course of his lifetime, the new sea walls and sewerage works have dramatically altered that part of Lyme. The holiday trade is totally different now and a generation has passed since those beaches were working beaches.
Doors open at 2pm and the talk will commence at 2:30pm. Admission is £4.00 on the door and all proceeds go towards the friends of Lyme Regis Museum.
