One of the town's biggest summer attractions, Lifeboat Week is a whole week of fun, games, entertainment music and displays for all the family to enjoy. All the old favourites are in the week’s attractions: the bath tub race, swimming challenges, a crab fishing competition, teddy bears' picnic, search and rescue demonstrations by local volunteer crews and the hugely popular water or wine lucky dip. On Wednesday 19th August at 6pm look to the skies for a spectacular display by two privately owned Supermarine Spitfires based at Dunkeswell Aerodrome, near Honiton.
