The Lyme Regis Art Society is a thriving arts group which has been running since the 1960’s. Currently with a membership of over 80 members, the society includes artists of all levels and interests, from amateur through to professionals, who meet fortnightly between September and June in Woodmead Halls in Lyme Regis. Their interests cover a wide range of disciplines including oils, acrylics, water-colour, mixed-media, pastels, drawing and textiles.
Organised by an elected committee and a team of dedicated helpers with a wide variety of skills, the Society offer regular demonstrations and workshops presented by local artists. These sessions are open to visitors for a small fee, or are inclusive with annual membership.
The Society exhibits every year at The Malthouse and always curate a varied, engaging and vibrant show warmly received by all who visit. Art will also be for sale.
The exhibition runs from Saturday 10 May until Thursday 22 May and is open daily from 10:30am until 4:30pm. Entry is free of charge.
