Malcolm Giladjian’s Picture Box exhibition at the Malthouse Gallery this summer is made up of a series of his works, including pieces of work connected with his painting accepted by the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2023 titled The Maypole Dancers. Malcolm works mainly in oil as an impressionist artist and his work reflects on his life’s journey, bringing the joy of life and colour to his paintings.
Born in Dover, Malcolm studied art at Brook House in Wiltshire during the 80s and later into the 90’s painted throughout France, spending time studying colour and sketching landscapes. Sold throughout the world, Malcolm has exhibited across both France and the UK.
He describes himself as a mark maker, using the balance of colour – and viewers often reflect that Malcolm’s work makes them feel happy.
The exhibition runs from Tuesday 27 August until Sunday 8 September and is open daily from 10:30am until 4:30pm. Admission is free of charge.
