Take a journey into Lyme’s past and discover the seaside town's rich history on one of the museum's Guided Town History Walks.
Peter has been living in Lyme Regis since 2018 after retiring from the British Army in 2017. He was interested in the local history and has since developed his personal interest into a guided walk so that he can share Lyme’s fascinating story with others.
Starting at the museum, the walk lasts for about an hour and covers a wide span of historical events from the 9th century right up to the present day. The walk avoids most of Lyme’s challenging inclines and provides opportunities for further individual exploration and discovery.
Please meet outside the museum 5 minutes before the walk.
Adult tickets cost £7.95, child tickets cost £4.95. The ticket price also includes entry to the museum.
