Transformation is a new exhibition bringing together the work of contemporary abstract artist Lisa Parkyn and ceramicist Trish Phillips in a dialogue between material, process and form. Lisa’s paintings, inspired by a sensory response to nature, evolve through layered, expressive mark-making whilst building rich surfaces. Trish’s porcelain vessels emerge through a physical and intuitive reshaping of clay – tilted, altered and refined to capture balance, light and the quiet presence of space. Her pieces are highfired porcelain with a Dolomite glaze.

Together, their practices reflect transformation as both a physical and emotional process, where form and surface are continuously reworked and meaning emerges through change, disruption and discovery.

The exhibition runs from Friday 29 May until Thursday 11 June and is open daily from 10:30am until 4:30pm. Entry is free of charge.
