Huge landslip at Charmouth

A major landslip on Stonebarrow Beach, east of Charmouth, occured on Monday afternoon.

Hundreds of tonnes of rock collapsed on to the beach, blocking access for those walking along.

According to Lyme Regis Coastguard 14 people were left stranded on the blocked beach but fortunately no-one was trapped or injured.
