Lyme Bay Medical Practice PPG Public Meeting

Dates for next event to be confirmed

All registered patients are warmly invited to attend the Patient Participation Group (PPG) Open Meeting and Annual General Meeting (AGM):

Tuesday 23 September 7:00pm
Uplyme Village Hall
Free parking

The evening will feature a talk by Dr Forbes Watson – “Our Medical Services: Moving Forward in Changing Times” – supported by members of the practice team. Together, they will explore some of the key issues raised by patients, with an opportunity for further questions and suggestions.

Queries in advance can be sent to the Patient Participation Group at lymebayppg@gmail.com

This meeting is expected to be especially topical in light of the recent pharmacy closure.

Following the talk, a short AGM will be held. All registered patients are welcome to take part, though participation is not obligatory.

It is a contractual requirement for all GP practices in England to establish and maintain a Patient Participation Group (PPG).

The purpose of a PPG is to:

  • Provide a forum for patients to share feedback and ideas about services.
  • Help the practice identify areas for improvement.
  • Support communication between patients and the practice team.
  • Encourage patient involvement in shaping local healthcare.

By working together, the PPG ensures that patient views are heard and considered in the development of services.
