The Lyme Regis Film Society was formed in 1988 in response to a demand from local film-goers who wanted to see up-to-date films that were not necessarily mainstream. The society has shown over 350 films since its inception.
Each season normally runs from September to the following March and films are shown fortnightly on Sundays at 5.30pm at the Marine Theatre. Membership includes admission to all 13 films each season. Guests pay £5 per visit but must be accompanied by a member.
