Morris sides from across the South West and further afield descended on Lyme Regis for an extravaganza of Morris dancing yesterday. Spectacular costumes, upbeat music and some wonderful dancing entertained audiences throughout the day along the seafront. The event started with a procession along the seafront, followed by the sides performing at various 'stages' before the day ended with a mass dance.
Morris sides taking part included Lyme Morris, Otter Morris, Black Bess Border Morris, Bootstrap Border Morris, Grimspound Morris, Wylde Morris, Datchet Border Morris, Quaside Cloggies, Holly Copse Molly, Pump House Clog Morris, Catseye Morris, Westminster Morris and Wyld Morris.
