Lyme Regis Majorettes Say Farewell to Beloved Trainer Olivia Miller After 31 Incredible Years

Tuesday 6th October 2026

Lyme Regis Majorettes have announced that their wonderful trainer, Olivia Miller, is retiring.

For more than three decades, Olivia has dedicated so much of her time, energy and heart to the Majorettes, helping generations of girls learn, grow, perform and create memories that will last a lifetime.

There have been countless training rehearsals, carnivals, performances, laughter, tears and so many special moments along the way, and Olivia has been at the heart of so many of them.
In a statement this evening, Lyme Regis Majorettes paid tribute to Olivia, saying:

“A massive thank you, Olivia, for everything you have done for Lyme Regis Majorettes. Your dedication and commitment have meant so much to so many people, and you have left an incredible legacy that will always be part of our troupe.

"While everyone is incredibly sad to see Olivia retire, there is also so much gratitude for the amazing 31 years she has given to the troupe and the countless young people whose lives she has touched.

"Thank you for everything, Olivia.  We will miss you more than you know, but you will always be part of the Lyme Regis Majorettes family."
