Chalk, Colour & Creativity Take Over Marine Parade in Pavement Art Competiton

The Lyme Regis Carnival Week Pavement Art Competition, held on Monday 3rd August, brought a wonderful splash of colour and creativity to Marine Parade, as young artists transformed the pavement into a fantastic gallery of chalk masterpieces.

With plenty of imagination on display, children competed across four age groups: 4 and under, 5–7, 8–11, and 12–16, with prizes awarded to the winning artists in each category.

From colourful pictures to imaginative designs, the standard was fantastic and it was wonderful to see so many young people getting involved.

A huge well done to all the budding artists who took part and helped make Marine Parade a riot of colour.
