Seaside Creativity Shines in Lyme Regis Sandcastle Competition

The beach was a hive of activity yesterday afternoon as dozens of fantastic entries took shape in the Lyme Regis Sandcastle Competition, held as part of Lyme Regis Carnival Week.

From towering turrets to intricate creations, the imagination, creativity and effort on display impressed the judges and delighted spectators alike.

It was a wonderful afternoon of traditional seaside fun, showcasing the talent and enthusiasm of participants of all ages. 

It's was an incredibly difficult task to choose a winner, and after much deliberation, the judges decided on Opi the Octopus with second place going to the F1 car.

Congratulations to everyone who took part and helped make the competition such a success!
