The community of Lyme Regis turned out in force today to pay their respects and celebrate the life of Steve “Babe” Phillips, a much-loved and well-known figure who for many years was the landlord of The Royal Standard
A packed service was held at St Michael’s Church before the hearse led mourners along the seafront to The Royal Standard. As the cortege made its way along the seafront, a beautiful rainbow appeared — a truly poignant moment.
