Summer Duck Race - Lyme Regis Carnival Week 2024

1,200 ducks competed in the Lyme Regis Summer Duck Race for Lyme Regis Regatta & Carnival Week. The race was won by duck number 129 trained by Lynda Thomas, 2nd 359 Bernard Smallwood,  3rd 419 Ellie, Callie & Eadie. Last duck home was 173 trained by Eden Glover.
Virgil Turner, Sam Harding & Mark Bujniewicz from Lyme Regis Fire Crew plus John King and Noah Turner did a great job in the river ensuring the ducks made it to the finish line and that they were all collected ready for the next race.
