Last Tuesday evening, Lyme Regis Town Band brought its season of popular seafront concerts to a spectacular close, entertaining a large and appreciative audience on the seafront.
With the sound of music carrying across the evening air, the band performed a varied programme of well-known favourites, with something to appeal to all ages. Highlights included Queen’s “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”, “The Bare Necessities” from The Jungle Book, Madness's "Baggy Trousers" , Taylor Swift’s “Love Story”, and ABBA’s much-loved “Mamma Mia.”
The audience enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, with many people gathering along the seafront to listen and enjoy the final concert of the summer season.
The band’s regular performances have once again proved a popular feature of the town’s summer calendar, bringing music and entertainment to residents and visitors alike.
