It was an evening of laughter and lively competition at last night’s Wacky Wheelbarrow Race — Lyme’s funniest and most crowd-pleasing event, held as part of Lyme Regis Regatta & Carnival Week.
Cheered on by a big crowd, the race was won by Sam Harding and Sophie Smith, representing Lyme Regis Fire Crew, who powered their way to victory.
The award for Best Fancy Dress went to Team Slipway — Holly Payne and Josie Smith — whose creative costumes were a big hit with spectators.
