Lyme Bay Chorale, a local choir of comprising around 32 auditioned singers, are holding their annual Christmas concert in the beautiful parish church of St Michael the Archangel on Sunday 8 December. A great way to start your Christmas celebrations, the concert will feature Vivaldi's Gloria followed by Benjamin Britten’s sparkly Ceremony of Carols alongside traditional carols.
Alex Davies is the musical director with Andrew Millington on the organ and performances from soprano Chloe Stratta and mezzo-soprano Anna Marie McLachlan.
Wine, soft drinks and mince pies will follow the event.
Tickets cost £15 in advance and can be purchased from Fortnam, Smith and Banwell in Lyme Regis, from choir members or on the door. Under 19s are free. All proceeds go towards the choir's bursary scheme for young singers.
