Lyme Regis Town Band

During the summer months Lyme Regis Town band plays regularly to entertain both holidaymakers and locals in the performance area of the Marine Parade Shelters on the seafront.  Each Tuesday evening from the beginning of July until the end of August, the brass band presents a series of concerts aptly entitled “Music by the Sea”. These performances have proved extremely popular, often attracting several hundred. The band also performs several Sunday afternoon concerts in the same location during the summer months.

The band is an integral part of the local community and supports other local organisations throughout the year including performing during Lifeboat Week and Regatta and Carnival Week.
