Jubilee celebrations started in Lyme Regis on Wednesday 1st June 2022 with the over 70s cream tea organised by the Lyme Regis Over 70s Christmas Lunch Fund.

A Queen's Platinum Jubilee Torchlight Procession and beacon lighting took place Thursday 2 June 2022. A truly spectacular sight as 300 torchbearers made their way down through the gardens and on to the sandy beach before a beacon on the North Wall of the harbour was lit by the Mayor of Lyme Regis, Michaela Ellis and the Mayor's Consort Alan Ellis. On Sunday 5 June a concert by the BBC Big Band took place on the sandy beach followed by a fireworks display over the Cobb.
