Lyme’s funniest, entertaining, crowd-pleasing race, The Wacky Wheelbarrow Race. The event is part of Lyme Regis Regatta & Carnival Week.

We’re expecting an evening of ‘wheelie’ great fun with hilarious race action for everyone.

All you need is a partner to enter as a team along, with a wheelbarrow, ideally dressed to impress and we’re hoping to see some wacky ideas! - Trophies will be awarded on the day for best dressed, not just the quickest teams. he race will start outside Jane's Cafe and run along Cart Road before heading up the slope by Kiosk then returning along Marine Parade to the finish line just part SWIM. 

All team individuals will have to switch positions (pusher & driver) at the half way point testing the skills, speed and power of everyone! 

Over 18s only please.

Trophy for 1st place plus a trophy for the best fancy dress / decorated wheelbarrow.

Spectators are encouraged to line the route to cheer on the runners.
