Believed to date back to 1640, The Old Lyme Brewhouse is an end of terrace cottage that has been lovingly renovated to a very high standard over a period of three years. It has been tastefully decorated, while attempting to reveal as many of the original features as possible. Located in the quieter old part of the town, the cottage has easy level access to the beach, harbour, shops, pubs and restaurants.
The ground floor of the property comprises a cosy living/dining room with wood burner, a fully equipped galley style kitchen and utility area and a shower room. There is a set of steep, narrow spiral stairs to reach the first floor where there is a twin room and a king size room with an ensuite bathroom.
The property has the benefit of an pretty enclosed courtyard garden with seating, a bike store and a car parking permit is provided for one car at Woodmead car park, close to the property.
The Old Lyme Brewhouse is ideal for couples wanting to get out and explore by foot, yet who enjoy all the home comforts when returning home. It is ideal for those who wish to enjoy the many amazing Jurassic coastline walks, and it even has a heated coat and boot cupboard, should there be any inclement weather!
