Lyme Bay Moonrakers performed two sea shanties to open the service. Music was provided by Lyme Regis Town Band.

The service concluded with wreaths being taken to be laid at sea by the lifeboat crew to commemorate those lost at sea but also to celebrate ‘relief and gratitude’ for lifeboat crews, coastguards and helicopter crews, all of whom have saved many lives.
