Strawberry Tree

Located in the Town Mill's 12th Century cobblestone courtyard, Strawberry Tree is a restaurant, cookery school and shop specialising in authentic Spanish and North African food and drink.

Restaurant
At lunchtime, if there are no courses running, they offer a tempting short tapas menu along with coffee and cake, while in the evenings you have a choice from the full tapas menu. Their menu changes with the seasons and they very much pride themselves on a carefully selected drinks menu featuring unusual Spanish wines and a fabulous list of local and Spanish dessert wines and digestifs.

Courses
Chef Giselle Benrimoj offers cooking classes and tutored tastings in a charming and relaxed setting. The classes are hands-on, learning by 'doing' which is a great way to master tips and tricks, family recipes and cultural backgrounds of the dishes created.  Some classes include sharing lunch together and sampling what's been produced. Private dining
The beautiful dining space can also be rented for private dinners, ideal for 12 people, but can comfortably fit up to 18. A selection of their beautiful tapas or a bespoke menu can be offered. 

Shop
Located at the front of the restaurant is a small but vibrant and brim-filled shop stocking a range of Spanish imported and locally-sourced foodie gifts and wine.  You'll find everything from perfumed quince jelly and bottles of sangria to wonderfully thick hot chocolate.
